The NYPD is looking for two men who brutally assaulted and robbed a man in the lobby of an apartment building last month.

According to law enforcement officials, on October 24, a 36-year-old man was standing in the lobby of his apartment building on Lowerre Place and East 226 Street when two men suddenly broke into the house. From then on the situation got tricky.

Inside, they attacked the resident, constantly beating and kicking him, and stealing his Samsung Galaxy phone and $ 500 wallet. The thieves fled the scene and the victim suffered pain and bruises to the head and body, a laceration to the lip and a torn tooth. He later reported the incident to the police and is in stable condition at NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi.
